How long is Sloop beer good for?
Below are some general guidelines for the shelf life of every kind of Sloop beer! But keep in mind these are approximate. We also highly recommend getting the freshest Sloop you can, and keeping it refrigerated once you have it - like it says on the cans, store cold, drink fresh!
Sloop Specialty IPAs - 4 months
Juice Bomb, Premium Lager, West Coast IPA, Double Fresh Pressed Juice Bomb, Sloop Pils, Bomb Box Variety Pack beers, Stouts, and DIPAs - 6 months
Sauer Peach, Specialty Sours - 1 year
Why does my beer have sediment in it?
Sediment is a naturally occurring part of most hazy IPAs! Sediment can be caused by a few different things, but in a NEIPA, it’s typically caused by the settling of hop precipitate over time. If the beer smells and tastes good, this is completely fine and normal.
Is there any juice or fruit in Juice Bomb?
Nope! The juicy aroma and flavor of Juice Bomb and all of our hazy IPAs come from hops and hops only.
Do you make gluten-free beer?
Not yet, but maybe someday!
Do you make a non-alcoholic beer?
Not yet!

Where is your tasting room?
Our tasting room and restaurant are in Hopewell Junction, NY, in a repurposed IBM plant directly off Route 84.
Do you serve food?
Along with a full-service bar featuring the freshest Sloop you can get, we also have a full-service dine-in restaurant serving hand-tossed pizza and snacks and entrees inspired by street food from around the world.
Do you serve anything other than beer?
Yes! Along with Sloop beers, we have a rotating selection of hard cider on draft, canned wines and hard seltzer, and Boylan soda.
Can I buy beer to go?
Yes! We offer 4, 6, and 12-packs of beer to go, as well as crowlers! We’re also happy to fill clean growlers.
Do you have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
Yes! Our wine and cider selection is gluten-free. Our food menu has various vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as some options that can be made vegan with modification. We do ask that all guests let their server know about any allergies they have prior to ordering, just in case!
Can I have my birthday/anniversary/retirement/graduation/company holiday party or rehearsal dinner at Sloop?
You sure can! We have a private event space called The Barrel Room that seats up to 60, or you can buy out the whole tasting room! And we have in-house catering packages! Check out our private events page for more information.
Are kids welcome at the tasting room?
Yes! We just ask that all children be supervised at all times.
Can I bring my dog or other pet to the tasting room?
Service animals are the only animals we allow indoors at our tasting room. During the warmer months when our outdoor space is open, pets are welcome so long as they’re supervised and remain on a leash.
Can I buy a keg?
You sure can! Just give us a call or shoot us an email to find out what we have available and pricing.
Does Sloop do charitable donations or sponsorships?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer public brewery tours at this time.

To keep things fresh, Sloop is always mixing it up with new limited specialty releases. Aside from a few seasonal faves, you might have a hard time finding a specific beer again. You can always check out our social media to keep updated on the latest releases!
