Grow Outdoors: Your Northeast Fall Foliage Guide
Fall in the Northeast is something special. Forests turn brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold, the air gets a little crisper, and suddenly every scenic overlook feels worth pulling over for.
Whether you’re planning a weekend hike, a scenic bike ride, a drive through the mountains, or simply looking for an excuse to spend more time outside, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the season. And we’ve got just the thing to bring along for the celebration afterward.
Follow the Colors with AMC’s Fall Foliage Tracker
Peak foliage doesn’t happen everywhere at once. While some northern forests may be showing off their brightest colors, other parts of the Northeast are only beginning their seasonal transformation. A little planning can go a long way toward making the most of your next fall adventure.
That’s where our partners at the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) come in.
AMC’s Northeast Fall Foliage Tracker is updated weekly with reports from across the region, helping you see where the leaves are changing and plan your next leaf-peeping excursion.
Use the tracker to find inspiration for a new destination, time a return trip to a favorite trail, or discover a new corner of the Northeast worth exploring. Whether you’re heading into the mountains or keeping things closer to home, there’s always another stretch of trail, scenic overlook, or quiet back road to discover.
Make the Most of Fall with Grow Outdoors
Of course, a great day outside deserves a great way to celebrate it.
Meet Grow Outdoors, our collaboration beer with AMC, brewed to celebrate the trails, landscapes, and communities that bring us together.
This 5.3% ABV hazy pale ale is dry-hopped with Mosaic hops and balanced with flaked oats and wheat. Expect bright notes of tropical fruit, citrus zest, and resinous pine, wrapped in a soft, approachable body that makes it an easy choice for sharing with friends after a day of exploring.
But Grow Outdoors is about more than what’s in the can. A portion of the proceeds supports AMC’s mission to protect natural spaces and make the outdoors more accessible, helping preserve the places we love to explore.
It’s a partnership built around a simple idea: spending time outside brings people together, and the places that make those experiences possible deserve to be protected.
